Portland, Oregon personal injury lawyer Dane Johnson focuses his law practice on the representation of those harmed by negligent or wrongful conduct. He has represented plaintiffs successfully in personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation and is admitted to practice in all Oregon state and federal courts.

Mr. Johnson was one of seventeen graduates in his University of Oregon School of Law class to earn admission to the Order of the Coif. Considered one of the highest honors a law student can receive, the Order of the Coif is a national honor society for law school graduates at member institutions. A student must earn a J.D. and graduate in the top 10 percent of his or her class to gain membership into the Order. During law school, he also served as an Associate Editor of the Oregon Law Review and a member of the University of Oregon School of Law National Appellate Advocacy Competition moot court team.

Mr. Johnson’s experience includes working as lead law clerk in the Oregon Department of Justice Trial Division, Torts and Employment Law Section on personal injury and employment discrimination cases. He has also clerked for the Animal Legal Defense Fund, helping prosecutors fight animal cruelty and advocating for legal rights for animals.
